DC20 West: A Powerful Debut on the West Coast
Oct 6, 2025
October 5–7, 2025 | Balboa Bay Resort – Newport Beach, CA
Our 9th DC20 event — and our first-ever on the West Coast — brought the sunshine, the strategy, and the DriveCentric energy to Newport Beach for an unforgettable day of learning, connection, and innovation.
From the opening breakfast overlooking the bay to insightful sessions led by some of the industry’s most forward-thinking voices, DC20 West embodied what this series is all about: dealers learning from dealers, sharing best practices, and exploring how technology and culture work together to drive growth.
A Day of Learning and Leadership
After a warm welcome breakfast, Steve Roessler kicked things off with opening remarks that set the tone for a day focused on collaboration and progress.
Keynote speaker Katie Mares inspired the audience with a powerful session on customer experience and leadership, followed by Matt Weiss from MarketScan, who shared data-driven strategies during the Platinum Sponsor Session.
After a quick networking coffee break, Matt Leone took the stage to introduce the Mastermind Announcement, leading into a dynamic lineup of dealer-led sessions that highlighted practical, real-world success stories.
Dealer Voices and Breakout Sessions
The breakout sessions gave attendees the chance to dive deeper into specific topics with peers and DriveCentric experts:
Jake Hales
Denny Eubank
Carlo Castillo
Each session provided a platform for authentic dealer-to-dealer conversation about process improvement, communication strategies, and real results in the CRM.
Following lunch, Joe St. John from AutoFi delivered an engaging presentation on digital retailing and customer experience, followed by dealer insights from Brian King and sponsor sessions from Urban Science’s Eric Demont and VINCUE’s Danny Zaslavsky.
DriveCentric Innovation and Product Focus
The afternoon also featured a DriveCentric Product Deep Dive with Josh, who walked attendees through recent product enhancements and showcased how DriveCentric’s Augmented Intelligence CRM continues to help dealerships communicate smarter and close more deals.
Dealer Feedback and Takeaways
Dealer feedback from DC20 West was overwhelmingly positive. Attendees enjoyed the event’s balance of learning and fun, noting that the condensed format made sessions more engaging and impactful. Many appreciated the intimate networking environment, which encouraged deeper conversations and meaningful connections.
